Begin your project's journey by submitting a new project form. Once that's been published, streamlancers can begin to submit proposals for your project.

You sure can! While filling out the form, you can find the streamlancer(s) username(s) and attach them to the form by clicking on their username. If you've already published your project and would like to invite a streamlancer to your project, there's no need to publish a new project. Simply visit the streamlancer's store that you'd like to invite to complete your project and click on the "Request Custom" button. Select your project from the drop-down menu and submit it. Streamlancers will be notified of your request but are not obligated to take the project or submit a proposal.
Some streamlancers will notify visitors that they are on vacation or not accepting requests for custom work. To communicate that with everyone, they add a message that will show up on their Store page and all of their products.
Stream Beginnings was built with customer care in mind. We believe that our Streamlancers take a genuine interest in the work they produce and want to be treated as a unique independent seller. That's why Stream Beginnings offers each Streamlancer multiple tools to ensure customer satisfaction. Each store has their own preferred contact methods on their store page and hours of availability, their own return/cancel/exchange, refund, and project policies, customers can ask questions about products by using the inquiry tab, and a ticket support system for post product assistance,

The marketplace is where you can find inspiration and purchase digital products and virtual services. When a Streamlancer adds a new product to their store, those products can also be found on the marketplace.

A Project is job that that requires custom work from a streamlancer(s). The person(s) that requests the custom project are known as an "employer". Once a project has been published to the Project Board, interested streamlancers can submit proposals for the project. The employer(s) decide which streamlancer(s) to hire and begin their project. Start by posting a new project to our Project Board!

Payments are made in two places on streambeginnings.com. Marketplace payments are made by using your cart and checkout. Project Payments are made after the streamlancer has sent a request for a payment using a credit card. Both checkout services are provided by Stripe.

Customers will have an additional 5% added to their project payments as a service fee. This fee helps us to provide consulting services and operate this website.

Customers only need to register once for access to all services offered on the website. The Customer Dashboard is where you will find links to manage your Projects and My Account is where you manage your Marketplace purchases and personal info.

Streamlancer Help Center

Projects that you have been hired for carry a 7 day waiting for payment period. If the Employer has not paid the requested payment within 7 days of the date you submit the request, the streamlancer is no longer obligated to complete the work. As an additional courtesy, customers(employers) should be made aware during the proposal process that they must pay within the 7 days of request and contact their streamlancer for any problems making the payment. If problems persist, please contact Stream Beginnings Project support at project@streambeginnings.com
When submitting a proposal, it is the Streamlancers responsibility to propose a reasonable time frame for the completion of a project and/or milestone. Stream Beginnings offers 7 days past the intended completion day for a Streamlancer to complete their promised work. If there is an issue completing this work, you must have the customer contact project@streambeginnings.com for documentation of the extension. If no extension is agreed upon and documented, then the project may be marked for deletion or awarded to a Stream Beginnings Streamlancer Core member.
Streamlancers are given access to our ever growing Knowledge Base. The knowledge Base will provide detailed instructions and valuable information regarding product creation and product variation. You can find the Knowledge Base on your Streamlancer Store Dashboard. Click on the book icon in the top right of the Dashboard.

The Marketplace is the combined location for all of the published products submitted by all Streamlancers in good standing.

Streamlancers can choose to "hide" the price and/or remove the add to cart button from a product by selecting the category check box in the add new product form. This is commonly used to showcase a product in a portfolio style or as previous work rather than a product for sale.

Projects are a custom job that a customer, also known as an employer, is requesting to have completed by a streamlancer. Streamlancers review the jobs found on the Project Board and submit proposals to the inquiring customer. Additionally, you may receive a direct request in your email from a potential project employer. This notification is letting you know that someone would like to work with you. You are not obligated to submit a proposal.

Stream Beginnings offers multiple support items for Streamlancers. The knowledgebase is a powerful tool for learning how to manage and build your store. You can find the knowledgebase in your store dashboard. Also available in your Store Manager Dashboard, is a direct messaging system that connect directly to a site admin. Additionally, we offer email support (support@streambeginnings.com) and a community of Streamlancers on our Stream Beginnings Streamlancer Discord.
